Turns out, anemia due to vitamin B-12 deficiency was hiding in my lab results this year. I feel much more energetic now, and I really, really should go to the GP every year. . . .

Ah, yes, I remember well Lisa's stress call. I didn't realize, however, that you lost sixty pounds. Eeeeek!

I'm grateful that you're diabetic in an era where it's controllable through technology and medicine.

I'm always torn when wishing someone the best for an anniversary like this. While diabetes is a pain, I've found that many people I know who have diabetes are also able to look at the bright side, things like being more aware of how they're feeling and thinking more consciously about what they're eating.

10 years is an important milestone, so congrats on getting here. This September it will be 37 years for me and so far without any significant problems. Best wishes for a healthy continuing life with the big D.

I don't remember leaving you the number of your doctor (is that when I told you I was the best wifey ever???) but that NP had the worst "besdide manner" and the largest eyes ever. That was a stressful day. I'm glad it's gotten a bit easier.
