The End of the World as We Know It

Evidently the 22nd of last month was the end of the world as we knew it . . . if by “we” we mean “the comments.” I’m sure that’s what the Mayans had in mind. Very far-sighted, those Mayans.

For some reason, comment posting stopped working around 1:50AM. (At least that’s when the last of the more than 6,000 spam comments was trapped in the filter.) Many thanks to Scotty J for pointing out his troubles to me today. My sincerest apologies if you tried to leave a comment only to get an unhelpful error.

I thought it was oddly quiet around here after posting that I’m going to do a marathon and an Ironman. :^)

6,000 Spam comments… wow, you must be popular.

Don’t remember what I said about the tri and the marathon, but I think it’s a worthy goal and you’ll probably do great. Good luck

  2. Glad you were able to get it all fixed up! Now get busy rocking your training plan for those big races in ’13! :-)

this is the second time I’m trying to comment on this post to tell you that I’m pretty sure I commented on the other post.

I said, isn’t it weird how the “end of the world” was nothing but a laugh and yet for some strange reason, all your comments got effed up? The end of the world occurred in Jeff’s comments but nowhere else.

    now POST dammit.

I tried to comment on the marathon/ironman announcement but alas I could not. I thought perhaps zombie activity had shut things down. Glad to know we survived the apocalypse with our brains intact and comments are welcome.

I will enjoy reading about your training adventures and channel your inner Ironman as I train for my wee Olympic.

I have problems before posting on your blogs. :( Maybe it’s operator error in my case. We both know that’s entirely possible. Haha. Glad you’re back up and running… literally. LOL.
